July..oh my

How did it get to be July already? The time has certainly flown by.  We have been up to our ears (really just our knees) in mud.  Thick, slide around and grab your shoes MUD.  We went to Las Vegas to escape all of the rain..but wait..the mud was here to welcome us back.

We have had adventures in Big Bear. A broken garage door and a dining room window that did not withstand the assault of a baseball and all of the cleaning that you could want to do.  Then off to LV.   Charlie and Jacob took us to the circus in Las Vegas, and all around entertained us and we had fun swimming in the pool.  A little Thai food for Grandpa as he celebrated his birthday and then we were off to the open spaces of Wyoming, and as I said..more MUD.

SPRING

SPRING is still missing here in WY.. but much to my surprise, we had a few visitors last week...twins no less..and now for the chicken coop..
We had a great Easter and
I have been working on a border for
the Round Robin quilt..and I finally finished

this round  and my pinwheels came out with points..now I'm knitting a few things and working on some quilt blocks..we are planning our garden and George is hard at work getting the soil ready... wow..just think of what we could accomplish if the temperature was better...

I'm entering another knitting special event..I had such a good time with the Ravelympics that I really needed to do it again..this time cast on is tomorrow until the last musher crosses the finish line..I will post pictures when I finish my project...Weather here in Wyoming is getting better, but the wind is getting worse and worse..typical Wyoming March weather..

Boy, I am so excited to have finished all the projects I signed up for...the Ravelympics were great..

I finished two pairs of socks, a felted purse, and a sweater that had been hanging around in my UFO pile forever..and used yarn I already had...

Well, it seems I can write my blog or I can post pictures, but apparently I can't do both at the same time...
I have been knitting up a storm here in Wyoming and it looks as though there is a storm coming in for this weekend..so we will be home for the duration...
